Grede in Minnesota is hiring General Production employees for Melt, Molding & Knock Off. You’ll operate equipment, monitor safety, and help ensure high-quality castings while moving ladles and following procedures. The target pay is $21.35–$23.35 per hour.

Qualifications

• Decimals and fractions may be used in drawings and measurements.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Some judgment to follow instructions and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit outstanding safety practices and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Assist in Melt, Molding, and knock-off operations as required.
• Move ladles and transport materials between furnaces as needed.
• Pour molten metal into molds and monitor iron temperature and ladle data.
• Record ladle numbers and molds poured.
• Communicate improvements and problems to improve efficiency.
• Work as a team member and approach tasks positively.
