Responsibilities

• Chair and act as a voting member of convened IRB meetings and oversee initial/continuing review.
• Lead the Other Events Committee and expedited reviews as designated by the IRB Chair.
• Interact with Principal Investigators and research teams to discuss IRB applications and develop policies for human subject protection.
