RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Senior Coordinator in the Research Department to oversee IRB processes and ensure ethical, compliant management of human subjects research at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ. The role requires a scientific degree, 3+ years in clinical research, and strong regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities include coordinating IRB activities, training staff, maintaining records, and providing guidance on federal, state, and institutional policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or health-related field is required.
• Master's degree is preferred for advanced roles.
• At least three years of experience in clinical research or research administration.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing ethical conduct of research.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate IRB activities and support committee operations.
• Analyze protocol submissions for completeness and correct level of review.
• Draft correspondence conveying IRB deliberations and contingencies.
• Provide regulatory and ethical advice to investigators and staff.
• Ensure compliance with applicable FDA and OHRP regulations.
