Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH seeks an Administrative Regulatory Support Specialist to manage regulatory protocol submissions within AWRI. You will ensure ethical conduct, protect participant safety, and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• Three years of relevant regulatory experience required.
• Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide protocol submission technical and administrative support to PIs.
• Coordinate submission, review, and maintenance of regulatory protocols.
• Serve as the primary resource for organizational review requirements.
• Track pending applications and advise PIs on submission status.
• Maintain communications regarding expirations, incomplete submissions, and other concerns.
• Act as super-user for the eTRAC system and contribute to process improvements.
• Provide training to PIs and staff on eTRAC usage.
• Collaborate to ensure researchers complete mandatory training.
• Attend meetings and prepare minutes; issue approvals based on committee conditions.
• Coordinate filing of accreditation applications and inspections.
