Job summary

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is seeking an IRB/CPHS staff member to staff CPHS and its Institutional Review Boards, ensuring timely processing and compliance with SOPs, laws, and ethical principles in research involving human subjects.

The role reports to the Assistant Director, IRB Operations and collaborates with IRB Chairs, Vice Chairs, investigators, and CHOP divisions to support safe, compliant clinical research and protect participant welfare.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Master's Degree in biology, psychology or other clinical research-related area Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Staff CPHS and IRB; ensure timely processing and disposition of protocols and related documents.
• Prepare agenda and minutes for committee meetings in accordance with SOPs.
• Maintain and retain required IRB records and communications.
• Coordinate IRB activities with CHOP divisions and departments.
• Provide training on IRB electronic management systems.
