Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking an Associate IR Special Procedure Technologist to perform advanced imaging procedures, including fluoroscopy and interventional radiology, while assisting in diagnosing and treating patients on-site in Saint Louis, MO.

This full-time role requires collaboration with physicians and support staff to ensure patient safety and comfort. The position offers on-site duties with four 10-hour days per week, and on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program with required clinical hours.
• State licensure may be required depending on the state of practice.
• ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required.
• RCIS or ARRT with advanced registry (CI/VI) preferred for higher ladder levels.

Responsibilities

• Operate fluoroscopy and interventional radiology equipment.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support complex procedures.
• Provide essential support during imaging procedures in a high acuity environment.
