Job summary

Mercy Hospital Springfield is seeking an Advanced IR Special Procedures Technologist to perform advanced imaging procedures, including fluoroscopy and interventional radiology, while ensuring patient safety and comfort during complex procedures.

You will operate specialized equipment, act as a resource and superuser, and assist in training, with a strong commitment to collaborative care in the imaging department.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours or RCIS training.
• Experience: 2 years of relevant experience.
• Certification: ARRT (R) or RCIS; Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Operate advanced imaging procedures including fluoroscopy and interventional radiology.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and effective delivery of care.
• Serve as resource and superuser; assist in training other staff.
