Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Clinical Nurse for Interventional Radiology Prep/Recovery on a part-time schedule (2/10s) rotating 10:00a-8:30p or 11:00a-9:30p in Chicago, IL. The RN provides evidence-based care, coordinates plans, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include advocating patient-centered care, developing individualized plans, mentoring staff, and documenting patient responses to care while adhering to nursing standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN-accredited school/college of nursing.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher.
• Current State of Illinois RN license and BLS CPR.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in nursing process and evidence-based care.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for patient-centered care with individualized plans.
• Develop and implement patient care plans based on nursing process.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve patient goals.
• Mentor and educate team members and students.
• Document responses and adjust care plans accordingly.
