Qualis LLC is seeking a Missile Modeling IR Plume Engineer to develop high fidelity threat missile signature data for use in modeling and simulation tools. The role requires understanding of modeling methods and the ability to deliver accurate phenomenology during flight, with no remote work option.

You will work within a product delivery team to meet time-critical schedules, coordinating with TMC engineers on software requirements and stakeholder needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM discipline with related experience per level.
• Experience with modeling and simulation data analysis and V&V.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and meet deadlines.
• Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain Top Secret with SCI access.

Responsabilités

• Gain experience with threat model phenomenology focusing on IR signatures.
• Research IR signature predictions and simulation models.
• Ensure data production supports MDA Ground Test Modeling and Simulation.
• Collaborate with TMC engineers on software requirements for threat modeling tools.
• Meet stakeholder requirements and ensure quality missile data production.
