Job summary

Akron Children's is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver nursing care across interventional radiology procedures in a high-acuity setting at Akron, OH. The role is part-time, day shift, 7:30 AM to 4 PM, onsite.

The RN will perform pre-procedure assessments, provide patient education, and support during procedures, with emphasis on airway and hemodynamic stability and rapid decision-making in collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Current RN license in Ohio.
• BLS and PALS certifications required; pediatric or radiology nursing preferred.
• Minimum of two years in procedural, critical care, or acute care settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care across pre-, intra-, and post-procedure phases.
• Perform pre-procedure assessments and coordinate care and education.
• Circulating, monitoring, and procedural support during interventional radiology cases.
