Job summary

Akron Children’s Hospital in Akron, OH, seeks an IR technologist to operate imaging devices including x-ray, Siemens Artis-Q with cone-beam CT, Toshiba biplane angiography, ultrasound, and supportive equipment. The role requires 2+ years of relevant experience, RCIS, BCLS, and ACLS/PALS certifications or ability to obtain within one year. Day shift, full-time, onsite.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in biological sciences or allied health preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.

• Provide quality medical imaging for each interventional procedure.
• Participates in performance improvement.
• Promotes a positive work environment.
• Serves as a resource to the interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrates advanced decision-making skills in problem identification and resolution.
• Responsible to take call and perform after hours in emergent and urgent procedures.
• Demonstrates knowledge to provide care for patients across ages and safety needs.
