Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle. You will communicate patient and unit needs to leadership and serve as a resource for staff, ensuring safe, effective care.

The role requires Georgia RN licensure and multiple certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, and chemotherapy/biotherapy as applicable, with on-call shifts and a 4 10's schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 1 year of nursing experience in a hospital setting required.
• 2 years or more nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• RN - Georgia licensure required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• PALS certification required for Emergency Department or unit as applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification required prior to independent chemotherapy administration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle, as well as operational issues during the shift.
• Provides clinical care as needed when census demands.
• Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s).
• Serves as resource for guidance and assistance to the staff.

Education

Graduate from an accredited nursing school

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
