Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a Charge Nurse for the TCU. The role coordinates quality nursing care from birth through the lifecycle on each shift and provides clinical care as needed to balance census. You will communicate care plans and staff concerns to leaders and serve as a resource for the team.

Required are Georgia RN licensure, BCLS, ACLS and PALS, plus potential additional certifications. An orientation period with ongoing certification requirements is part of the role.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Georgia is required.
• 1 year of hospital nursing experience required; 2+ years preferred.
• Basic life support certification required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required; several specialty certifications may be required.
• Orientation period and ongoing certifications as specified in addendum.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of quality nursing care during the shift.
• Provide clinical care as needed when census demands.
• Communicate patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to leadership.
• Serve as a resource for guidance and staff support.
