Job summary

Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, AL seeks a full-time Radiology Tech to support cardiac catheterization procedures. The role includes monitoring, scrubbing and circulating during interventions, using sterile technique and caring for adults 18+. Prior cath lab experience is preferred.

ARRT or RCIS credentials or CVT experience are considered an asset; graduation from an accredited Radiology Technology program is required, with BLS recommended.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Radiology Technology.
• One year of special procedures or cath lab experience required.
• ARRT or RCIS credentials, or CVT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician in catheterization procedures as monitor, scrub and circulate.
• Provide direct patient care to adults 18+ and maintain sterile technique.
• Maintain data in the hemodynamic computer system and support team.

FT with call rotation - Responsible for assisting in the performance of cardiac catheterization procedures utilizing diagnostic and interventional radiographic equipment. Utilizes sterile technique and maintains operational and anatomic knowledge of the cardiovascular system. Provides direct patient care to patients 18 years of age, or older. Maintains appropriate and accurate data in the hemodynamic computer system. Will be required to assist the physician in the performance of all catheterization procedures in the role of monitor, scrub and circulate. rec:max

Registered Radiology Tech (ARRT) or RCIS credentials or CVT experience and BLS preferred. Graduation from accredited School of Radiology Technology and one year of special procedures or cath lab experience reruired. IR Vascular experience preferred.
