Job summary

Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, AL seeks a FT Radiologic Technologist to assist in cardiac catheterization procedures using diagnostic and interventional radiographic equipment, while maintaining sterile technique and cardiovascular knowledge. Provide direct patient care to adults and document data in the hemodynamic system.

Will assist physicians as monitor, scrub and circulate during cath lab procedures. ARRT/RCIS credentials or CVT experience preferred; graduation from an accredited Radiology

Job description

FT with call rotation - Responsible for assisting in the performance of cardiac catheterization procedures utilizing diagnostic and interventional radiographic equipment. Utilizes sterile technique and maintains operational and anatomic knowledge of the cardiovascular system. Provides direct patient care to patients 18 years of age, or older. Maintains appropriate and accurate data in the hemodynamic computer system. Will be required to assist the physician in the performance of all catheterization procedures in the role of monitor, scrub and circulate. rec:max

Registered Radiology Tech (ARRT) or RCIS credentials or CVT experience and BLS preferred. Graduation from accredited School of Radiology Technology and one year of special procedures or cath lab experience reruired. IR Vascular experience preferred.
