Job summary

Landing Point in Rochester, NY seeks an Associate for Investor Relations to support capital-raising efforts. You will own the investor CRM (DealCloud), generate leadership reports, and manage relationships with CRM vendors while targeting prospective institutional investors aligned with fundraising strategies.

The role requires 1–2 years in a financial role, preferably real estate or fixed income, with strong research and data-translation capabilities to drive actionable fundraising strategies.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Marketing, Finance, Computer Science, or Economics preferred.
• 1-2 years of work experience in a financial role, preferably real estate or fixed income related.
• Skilled in research and CRM database management.
• Ability to generate insights, identify emerging themes, and translate data into actionable strategies.

Responsibilities

• Own accountability for the investor CRM system (DealCloud), maintaining data integrity and optimizing workflows.
• Generate regular and ad hoc reports for senior leadership, including insights and projected capital inflows.
• Manage relationships with DealCloud representatives.
• Identify and manage lists of prospective institutional investors aligned with the firm’s fundraising strategies.
• Develop customized approaches for prospective investors based on their investment mandates and portfolio allocations.
• Design and execute outreach strategies to convert cold prospects into active pipeline opportunities.
• Conduct ongoing analysis of peer investment firms and track their fundraising cycles and product launches.
• Synthesize industry reports to identify emerging trends and actionable strategies.
• Identify areas where competitors are succeeding or failing to inform firmstrategy and fundraising approach.
