Qualifications

• This role requires leadership in design, development, and integration of weapon systems.
• Experience leading in a team environment is essential.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are required.
• Experience conducting systems engineering design reviews (SETRs) and TRRs.
• Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes and related controls.
• Background in modeling and simulation, requirements development, and verification.
• Desirable experience with cruise missiles.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of multi-disciplined engineers to meet IPT priorities and weapon system production.
• Lead technical management activities for the IPT and daily engineering tasks.
• Advise Chief Engineer on reliability, manufacturing, and system development matters.
• Develop and supervise documentation for system engineering reviews.
• Advise leadership on risks affecting cost, schedule, and performance.
• Develop and present technical briefings to senior executives.
• Coordinate with AFNWC and other DoD/NNSA/CAA stakeholders to plan and execute activities.
