Job summary
Ingredion Incorporated in North Kansas City seeks an IPS Engineer to lead continuous improvement initiatives across plant operations, implementing the IPS system, and delivering training. You will establish KPI baselines, run Kaizen events, support digital solutions, and collaborate with IT and plant leaders to drive safety, quality, and productivity.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, chemical, or manufacturing engineering.
- Experience in Process/Industrial Engineering.
- Experience working in and supporting lean management systems.
- Knowledge of digital systems including OEE, KPI reporting.
Responsibilities
- Lead CI/IPS initiatives and implement the IPS management system.
- Deliver Management System training and drive CI/IPS adoption.
- Establish KPI baselines and support target setting with leadership.
- Maintain an improvement plan/portfolio and identify process improvements.
- Support cost reduction, productivity, and safety/quality targets.
- Lead Kaizen events, RCA studies, and CI activities.
- Collaborate with IT to implement digital solutions and reporting.
