Job summary

The Elizabeth Layton Center is seeking an IPS Supported Employment Case Manager to join our Outpatient team in Paola, KS. This role focuses on providing case management to individuals with mental illness aiming to increase independence and employment opportunities within the community.

You will coordinate with therapeutic staff, connect clients to employment resources, and support professional growth while maintaining a strong commitment to equity and client empowerment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent to meet KS licensing requirements.
• Minimum qualifications per Kansas Case Management Program Standards.
• Clean driving record.
• Must pass security check per Medicaid regulations.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate care coordination between client and local businesses to obtain employment.
• Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and social services partners.
• Provide vocational services: applications, resume writing, interview skills, appropriate employment dress, interpersonal skills.
• Attend weekly individual and group supervisions.
• Support clients through symptom self-management to obtain employment.
• Develop an individual employment plan within 14 days of referral to IPS program.
