Job summary

Wyandot Behavioral Health Network is seeking a Case Manager for Supported Employment in Kansas City, KS. You will engage clients to achieve competitive employment and/or education completion, working with the behavioral health team, family members, and community partners to meet client needs.

The role emphasizes an IPS-based approach, job development, and ongoing support in community settings. A related bachelor’s degree and mental health experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, rehabilitation or related field (or equivalent education plus experience).
• Preferred experience in the mental health field, especially with community-based/outreach work.
• Familiar with needs of individuals with mental health diagnoses; preferred experience with severe mental illness.

Responsibilities

• Develops an individualized employment/education plan with clients, incorporating input from mental health team and family members.
• conducts job development and job search activities, including employer contacts.
• Provides follow-along supports to assist clients in maintaining employment or completing an educational/vocational program.
• Collaborates with educational staff and Office for Disability Services to support client success.
• Spends 65%+ of scheduled work hours in the community.
• Facilitates vocational topics groups and coordinates with Vocational Rehabilitation.
• Maintains client rights and accommodations discussions with clients.
