Job summary

Deloitte’s Capital Markets Transactions group seeks a Senior Manager to oversee IPO/SPAC readiness and execution, coordinating multi-threaded engagements and guiding technical accounting across US GAAP and IFRS considerations. You will supervise teams, manage budgets, and strengthen client relationships while leveraging Excel and PowerPoint to deliver high-quality analyses and presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 8+ years of public accounting or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing teams.
• Deep understanding of capital markets transactions (e.g., IPOs, SPACs, and other equity/debt offerings)
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting background.
• Must have one of the following certifications: CPA (in office state), CFA, CRISC, PMP or other related certification.
• You should reside within a commutable distance of your assigned office with the ability to commute daily.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day IPO, SPAC, and other CMT advisory engagements.
• Lead project planning, stakeholder management, and delivery of key milestones.
• Coach and mentor staff; conduct performance reviews and contribute to feedback.
• Assist clients with financial disclosures and SEC documents.
• Manage engagement economics, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Stay current on capital markets developments.
