Job summary

Hughes Exterminators, Inc. in Tampa, FL, is hiring a full-time Pest Control Technician to service residential and commercial customers using IPM.

You will start your route each day, identify pests, assess harborage and conditions, and propose a personalized treatment plan. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Possess a valid Driver's License
• Ability to pass and maintain any state regulatory agency‑required licensing/certification exams
• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week
• No experience necessary! We will train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Enter attics, crawl spaces, and other parts of residences to assess problems and properly identify insects, pest harborage areas, and conducive conditions as you treat them.
• Devise and describe a personalized solution to customers and explain treatment options.
• Collect service payments from customers and answer questions.
• Keep your equipment and vehicle in proper operating condition at all times.
