Job summary

Bland Landscaping Company is seeking an Lawncare/IPM Technician to serve as the on-site expert balancing environmental safety with aesthetic landscapes. You will diagnose issues, implement precision IPM solutions, and report to the Production Manager while handling specialized seasonal projects and winter operations.

The role emphasizes safe chemical handling, regulatory compliance, and mentoring crew members to uphold best practices in plant health and performance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Driver’s License: NC driver’s license with good driving record (CDL preferred).
• Pesticide License: Willing to obtain NC Pesticide Applicator’s License.

Responsibilities

• Execute advanced IPM protocols for mixing, loading, and applying fertilizers and pesticides.
• Proactively diagnose turf/ornamental pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies and deploy remedies.
• Maintain pesticide application records (PAR) and site histories to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide daily management updates and act as a client liaison on technical questions.
