Job summary

Amgen seeks a motivated undergraduate for an Integrated Pest Management Co-op within Facilities & Engineering at our Puerto Rico site. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, perform field assessments, and gain hands-on experience supporting IPM programs starting January 2027.

The role requires ongoing enrollment in a related bachelor's program, with the opportunity to work full-time for 6–12 months.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s Degree program with a 3.0 GPA minimum.
• Expected completion of at least 2 years of study in Soil Science, Entomology, Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, Horticulture, and/or Crop Protection prior to the co-op commencing.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Flexibility to participate in the program for 6 months up to 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structured field assessments around identified areas to monitor pest activity.
• Document soil, drainage and vegetation conditions relevant to IPM.
• Assist with data collection and site observations.
• Prepare summaries, presentations, and recommendations for stakeholder review.
