Job summary

Biopharma-Consulting-Jad-Group in Juncos, Puerto Rico, seeks a mechanical engineer to keep GMP HVAC and utilities reliable. You’ll troubleshoot, optimize and modify facility systems, supporting capital projects at a leading biotech site.

The role requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, 2 years’ experience, HVAC/BMS in pharma, GMP knowledge, and bilingual English/Spanish, with weekend and 12-hour shifts during implementation. Contract for 6 months starting November 2026.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) plus 2 years engineering experience, or a Master's degree.
• HVAC/BMS and utilities experience in regulated pharma/biotech.
• GMP knowledge with validation protocol writing/execution is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical writing skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

Keep a GMP facility's HVAC and utilities reliable. You will troubleshoot, optimize and modify facility systems and support capital projects at a leading biotechnology manufacturing site in Juncos, Puerto Rico.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot and optimize HVAC, utilities and facility systems for safe, reliable, GMP-compliant operation.

• Execute facility modifications and capital projects within schedule and budget.
• Prepare cost estimates, schedules and technical reports.
• Coordinate with Facilities, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, EHS and contractors.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) + 2 years of engineering experience, or a Master's degree.
• HVAC/BMS and utilities experience in a regulated pharmaceutical/biotech environment.
• Working knowledge of GMP; validation protocol writing/execution is a plus.

• Available for weekend support and 12-hour shifts during implementation.
