Job summary

BioPharma Consulting JAD Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineering professional to maintain GMP-compliant HVAC and utilities in a biotech manufacturing site in Juncos, Puerto Rico. You will troubleshoot, optimize and modify facility systems and support capital projects.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) with 2 years of experience or a Master's degree, plus HVAC/BMS familiarity in regulated pharma/biotech.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) with 2 years' experience or a Master's degree.
• HVAC/BMS and utilities experience in regulated pharma/biotech environments.
• Working knowledge of GMP; validation protocol writing/execution is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical writing skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and optimize HVAC, utilities and facility systems for GMP-compliant operation.
• Support preventive maintenance strategies and recommend system modifications.
• Execute facility modifications and capital projects within schedule and budget.
• Prepare cost estimates, schedules and technical reports.
• Coordinate with Facilities, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, EHS and contractors.

Keep a GMP facility's HVAC and utilities reliable. You will troubleshoot, optimize and modify facility systems and support capital projects at a leading biotechnology manufacturing site in Juncos, Puerto Rico.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot and optimize HVAC, utilities and facility systems for safe, reliable, GMP-compliant operation.
• Support preventive maintenance strategies and recommend system modifications.
• Execute facility modifications and capital projects within schedule and budget.
• Prepare cost estimates, schedules and technical reports.
• Coordinate with Facilities, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, EHS and contractors.

• HVAC/BMS and utilities experience in a regulated pharmaceutical/biotech environment.
