Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies seeks a Quality Inspector to ensure products and materials meet contract, drawings, and specifications. You will perform final visual and dimensional inspections and inspect incoming parts from suppliers.

You must read drawings, use microscopes and gages, and work with Quality Engineers and Supervisors. The role offers a full benefits package and opportunities to grow in a global tech company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong communication skills.
• IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, J-STD-001 certifications required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Ability to use a microscope and handheld gages.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Willing to lift up to 40 pounds, occasionally.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to pass a Visual Acuity exam.

Responsibilities

• Performs final visual and dimensional inspections of products.
• Inspects incoming materials and parts from suppliers to ensure they conform to specifications.
• Dispositions product according to written procedures and work instructions.
• Maintains inventory location and status via barcode scanning and electronic database.
• Maintains and updates documentation of records via FilePro, written documentation and spreadsheets.
• Assists and performs sort activities (internal / external).
• Communication with Quality Engineers, Supervisors and Cell Leads.
• Any other task assigned by manager.
