Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies is seeking a Quality Inspector to verify products and incoming materials meet drawings, specs, and written requirements.

The role performs final visual and dimensional inspections, and dispositions products per procedures. Strong communication with Quality Engineers and Supervisors is required; IPC certifications are preferred. The position supports 2nd shift in Mesa, AZ.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication skills.
• IPC-A-610 Certified, preferred.
• IPC-A-620 Certified, preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to use a microscope.
• Able to work independently and as a team.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, occasionally.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.
• Must be able to pass a visual acuity test.
• Must be able to work independently and problem solve with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Performs final visual and dimensional inspections of products
• Inspects incoming materials and parts from suppliers to ensure they conform to specifications
• Dispositions product according to written procedures and work instructions
• Maintains inventory location and status via barcode scanning and electronic database
• Maintains and updates documentation of records via FilePro, written documentation and spreadsheets
• Communication with Quality Engineers, Supervisors, and Cell Leads
• Any other task assigned by manager
