Job summary

CoxHealth Branson Therapy Department is seeking a Physical Therapist dedicated to restoring movement and function across pediatric to geriatric patients. You will work in a collaborative team in Branson, MO, providing therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and education to patients and families.

This full-time role offers a day shift, 40 hours/week, and a supportive environment with opportunities for professional growth through the Clinical Ladder and relocation or sign-on incentives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Missouri licensure required (active).
• Ability to work with pediatric through geriatric patients and coordinate with care team.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises to restore movement and function.
• Collaborate with Physicians, Nurse Case Managers, and third-party payers to coordinate care.
• Document treatment plans and patient progress for clinical records.
• Educate patients and families on mobility, safety, and home exercise programs.

Job Summary

A Physical Therapist assists patients with returning to a normal pattern of movement and functioning as possible through the use of therapeutic exercise. This position cares for patients from pediatric to geriatric age who are referred for medical and educational services. Responsible for planning and implementing prevention, habilitation, or rehabilitation services including mobility devices, counseling and orientation that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. The Physical Therapist is responsible for communication of care to Physicians, Nurse case Managers, and third-party payers.

Job Requirements

Education

• Required: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program
• Preferred: Masters or Doctorate from an accredited program of Physical Therapy

Experience

• No prior experience required

Skills

• Good clinical expertise, communication skills, human relations skills and organizational skills required.
• Self-motivated individual who can work independently with little direct supervision required
• Has demonstrated interest in professional growth by attendance at continuing education workshops, and applications of new principles and/or techniques.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Required: Active Missouri licensure for Physical Therapy. (Temporary licensure not accepted)
