Overview

• Work involves the prosecution and strategic management of patent portfolios for clients in technology sectors such as Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML), semiconductors, telecommunications, cybersecurity, mobility, MedTech, robotics, fintech, digital infrastructure, and next-generation energy systems.
• Responsibilities include drafting and prosecuting U.S. and international patent applications, conducting freedom-to-operate, validity, and patentability analyses.
• Assist with IP due diligence, portfolio management, and strategic counseling for emerging and established technology clients.
• Collaborate with attorneys to provide technical expertise in support of litigation, licensing, and other IP-related matters.
• Maintain current knowledge of U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and international patent practices, procedures, and developments relevant to high-tech areas.
• Clients range from early-stage startups to some of the world’s largest and most innovative companies.
• A degree in electrical engineering, computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline is required (advanced degree preferred), with demonstrated expertise in areas like AI/ML, processor architecture, telecommunications, cybersecurity, or semiconductors.
• The position is not remote or hybrid, and candidates should have a desire for significant responsibility and client interaction.
