Dority & Manning, P.A. in Seattle is seeking an entry-level IP Coordinator to join our growing IP team. You will bring data-driven, process-oriented thinking to support patent and trademark matters, acting as a client support lead and collaborating with attorneys and leadership.

Ideal candidates thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, where you will learn rapidly, manage deadlines, and help maintain accurate client communications and documentation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated understanding and implementation of multiple IP processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
• Ability to independently facilitate and manage projects and analyze data.

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships and serve as IP expert for clients and inventors; obtain signatures; prepare correspondence and reporting.
• Manage client reporting and tracking including status updates, IDS, and attorney assignments.
• Create client reports using data from spreadsheets and accounting inputs.
• Manage assigned dockets and collaborate with IP docketing team.
• Prepare and file patent/trademark applications or office actions; handle IDS and declarations.
