Willows Care Center is seeking an Infection Preventionist (IP LPN LVN) to lead our infection prevention and control program on-site. You will perform rounds, review sanitation procedures, and analyze infectious disease data while consulting with the Director of Nursing.

As an Infection Preventionist (IP LPN LVN) , you will develop, direct, and monitor the facility's infection prevention and control program and ensure that the facility is in compliance. You will make rounds of nursing units and review environmental sanitation procedures and analyze infectious disease lab reports and consult with the Director of Nursing. You will prepare summaries of all resident/staff infections, corrective actions taken, and results for submission. You'll meet with staff, residents and family members to explain precautions and ensure appropriate hand-hygiene techniques are followed.
