Job summary

WilmerHale's Intellectual Property Litigation practice in Los Angeles seeks associates with 3–5 years of post-JD experience. Positions may be located in Boston, Denver, New York, Palo Alto, San Francisco, Los Angeles or Washington, DC, with a hybrid work model.

The role involves depositions, motions, and discovery, including ITC/IPR experience a plus. Qualified candidates must have a JD, be licensed, and bring a strong writing and analytical skill set, with a collaborative approach to practice.

Qualifications

• J.D. required and licensed to practice in the state/jurisdiction where based.
• Excellent writing and analytical abilities; collaborative work style.
• Electrical engineering/CS/CE background preferred or strong industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Taking/defending depositions and motion practice.
• Conducting written discovery and expert discovery; drafting pleadings and motions.
• Inter partes review and/or ITC proceedings experience a plus.
