Job summary

Estrin Legal is seeking a Senior IP Litigation Paralegal in Washington, DC (Hybrid) to support cutting-edge patent litigation across federal courts, ITC, and PTAB proceedings.

You will work alongside leading IP litigators on high-stakes matters, coordinating large discovery efforts, preparing for depositions, and assisting with motions and court filings. 5+ years IP litigation experience and ITC 337 familiarity are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IP litigation experience.
• Significant experience with Section 337 investigations before ITC.
• Experience with USPTO review and reexamination proceedings.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex patent litigation in federal courts, the ITC, and PTAB proceedings.
• Coordinate large-scale paper and electronic discovery.
• Prepare for depositions, hearings, and trial.
• Manage document databases, productions, privilege logs, and electronic filings.
• Draft selected motions and pleadings; bluebooking and cite-checking.

This is not general commercial litigation. This is cutting‑edge patent litigation involving federal district courts, the Federal Circuit, the U.S. International Trade Commission, and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.

If you've handled Section 337 investigations and know your way around a complex IP case from complaint through trial, you'll feel right at home.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing complex patent litigation in federal courts, the Federal Circuit, the ITC, and PTAB proceedings
• Coordinating large-scale paper and electronic discovery
• Preparing for depositions, hearings, and trial
• Managing document databases, productions, privilege logs, and electronic filings
• Drafting selected motions and pleadings
• Bluebooking, cite‑checking, proofreading, and court filings
