Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Chicago, IL is seeking an Intellectual Property Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-6 years of patent litigation experience. You will handle high-stakes disputes for Fortune 50 clients and innovative startups, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop persuasive litigation strategies.

The ideal candidate holds a JD, is admitted to practice in the relevant jurisdiction, and brings strong writing and analytical skills, with the ability to manage complex cases

Qualifications

JD from an accredited law school.
Bar admission in the applicable jurisdiction.
3–6 years of patent litigation experience.

Responsibilities

Conduct patent litigation in federal district court, including fact development and discovery.
Engage in motion practice, expert issues, and trial preparation.
Participate in ITC investigations and coordinate with parallel proceedings.
Draft briefs, motions, and client communications.
Collaborate with technical experts to present clear arguments.
Handle PTAB proceedings, including IPRs.
Explore SEPs/FRAND disputes in telecommunications and multimedia standards.
