Job summary

HARMAN Lifestyle seeks an experienced IP Counsel to provide legal support for the Lifestyle division. You will draft and negotiate IP agreements, advise on IP strategy, and partner with internal teams to minimize risk and maximize portfolio value.

The role reports to senior legal leaders and requires strong collaboration across functions, including operations, product, and finance, in a hybrid Richardson, TX environment.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree and Bar admission are required.
• 5+ years of IP experience, in-house or law firm.
• Strong negotiation and drafting capabilities for IP licenses and related agreements.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and draft IP licenses, assignments, NDAs and related agreements.
• Provide strategic legal advice on IP portfolio, roadmaps, and cross-functional matters.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external counsel to support business objectives.
• Conduct IP due diligence and manage IP portfolio and litigation support as needed.
