Job summary

Nationwide seeks a Software Engineering Product Manager to lead the Internet of Things (IoT) and Telematics portfolio within P&C DOTS in Columbus, OH. You will drive product strategy, platform health, and delivery for connected-car, smart-home, and telematics data products.

You will guide teams to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable solutions aligned with the company’s business strategy and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Six years of experience in application suite management with four years leading multiple teams across technologies.
• Proven ability to empower and build an engaged team.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, budgeting, forecasting and roadmap strategy.

Responsibilities

• Own product and platform health including reliability, security, controls, quality, lifecycle management, production support and incident response.
• Lead prioritization across new delivery, operational needs, tech debt, regulatory obligations and customer value.
• Manage dependencies, risks, trade-offs, delivery commitments, financials, capacity and vendor relationships.
• Promote modern engineering practices including automated testing, CI/CD, observability, secure delivery and disciplined release management.
