Role Description

We are hiring an IoT Solutions Architecture Manager to lead a regionally-focused team of Field engineers in Presales and Professional Services. The role involves solution architecture, design, and delivery support to customers.

Location

This is a remote role, managing a team in one of three Geos: Americas, EMEA, or APAC. Candidates must reside in one of these regions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and develop a team of Field engineers across Presales and Professional Services.
2. Assist customers with solution architecture, design, and problem-solving.
3. Manage remote teams across time zones.
4. Mentor team members and foster career development.
5. Track team health and implement engineering best practices.
6. Represent the team and product to stakeholders and partners.
7. Plan and oversee project progress.
8. Collaborate with leadership to align on strategy and goals.

Candidate Requirements

1. Strong academic background in high school and university.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
3. Extensive experience with embedded Linux (Yocto preferred) and Linux distributions like Debian or Ubuntu.
4. Proficiency in programming languages such as Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust.
5. Experience managing small teams and engaging with customers.
6. Excellent communication skills in English.
7. Interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability.
8. Result-driven with a focus on commitments and business benefits of technology.
9. Fast learner with a humble attitude.

Preferred Traits

Experience with RTOS, additional languages, and remote-first work experience are advantageous.
