We are hiring an IoT Solutions Architecture Manager to lead a regionally-focused team of Field engineers in Presales and Professional Services, assisting customers with solution architecture, design, and delivery.
This is a remote role, managing a team in one of three Geos: Americas, EMEA, or APAC. You need to be located in one of these regions to manage the team across different time zones.
Our IoT mission is to enable companies to operate secure, connected devices. Canonical provides the Ubuntu OS and kernel, with secure update and management mechanisms. Our customers develop mission-critical control systems, gateways, and appliances that meet stringent security and quality standards. We aim to extend this security to consumer electronics and devices.
Our Field Engineers are technical thought leaders who help solve complex problems, focusing on embedded Linux strategy and delivery. They are passionate about helping customers achieve their technical and business goals and advocate for open source and edge compute innovations. They also develop their colleagues' skills and understanding of technology and customer business needs.
Additional desirable traits include RTOS experience, multilingual abilities, and prior remote-first, diverse, distributed work experience.
