We are hiring an IoT Solutions Architecture Manager to lead a regionally-focused team of Field engineers in Presales and Professional Services, assisting customers with solution architecture, design, and delivery.
Location: This is a remote role, managing a team in one of three regions: Americas, EMEA, or APAC. You must be located in one of these regions to manage the respective team.
Our IoT mission is to enable companies to create secure, connected devices. Canonical provides the Ubuntu OS and kernel, with secure update and management mechanisms. Our customers develop mission-critical control systems, gateways, and appliances that meet high security and quality standards. We aim to extend this security to consumer electronics and device markets.
Our Field Engineers are thought leaders in embedded Linux strategy and delivery, passionate about solving complex problems, and helping customers achieve technical and business goals. They also develop their colleagues' skills and understanding of customer business thinking.
This role requires a blend of skills: strong Linux knowledge, proficiency in coding and scripting, experience with low-level Linux boot, BIOS, firmware, and embedded software development. Candidates should thrive in a fast-paced environment, be business-oriented, and team players.
