Job summary

SLB is seeking a Sensor Operations Analyst in Sugar Land, TX to oversee 12,000+ monitoring devices across North America. The role blends hands-on operational support with data analysis and automation development to enhance efficiency and data visibility.

You will develop automation tools using Python, APIs, and LLMs, while partnering with field teams, customers, and vendors. Strong analytics, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for driving reliable program performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, IT, Data Analytics, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant technical, product support, operations, or data analysis experience.
• Experience troubleshooting technical systems, devices, software applications, or connectivity issues.
• Experience working with customers, field personnel, or cross-functional operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation tools and workflow solutions using Python, APIs, LLMs, and data platforms to streamline processes and improve data accuracy.
• Serve as the primary contact for field personnel, customers, and internal stakeholders on sensor-related questions and technical support.
• Troubleshoot device, software, connectivity, data transmission, and API integration issues and provide user coaching.
• Support device commissioning, configuration, deployment, and ongoing maintenance for a large fleet of monitoring devices.
• Monitor device health, dosage accuracy, and KPIs via exception-based reporting and performance analysis.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting tools to improve operational visibility and decision-making.
• Create Python-based automation tools and data management solutions to increase efficiency and scalability.
