Job summary

Alarm.com is seeking Quality Engineers to validate integration of smart home devices across our ecosystem. You will perform manual end-to-end testing across hardware, firmware, software, and networked systems, own test plans, and drive quality improvements with a hands-on, ownership mindset.

New graduates or early-career engineers who learn quickly and communicate clearly will thrive as they collaborate with engineering, product, and other QA teams to ensure robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of product functionality, architecture, and data flow.
• Write, execute, and maintain test plans and cases.
• Perform manual end-to-end testing across hardware, firmware, software, and network components.
• Identify, log, and track defects; write reproducible bug reports.
• Analyze logs and system data to troubleshoot root causes; configure test environments.
