Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/Engineering/IT or related field.
• 0–1 years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, internships, co-ops, or related projects.
• Foundational understanding of software testing concepts including functional and regression testing.

Responsibilities

• Learn Alarm.com's products, workflows, and system architecture.
• Execute manual test cases, document defects, and track issues through resolution.
• Assist in developing, executing, and maintaining automated UI and API tests with guidance.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in design discussions to learn about testability and automation best practices.
• Help maintain test frameworks, data, and environments.
• Review logs and data to support issue investigation and validation.
