Job summary

Actalent in Sheboygan, WI is seeking a Hardware Engineer to develop, test, and optimize PCB solutions for residential and power products within an IoT and cloud-connected environment.

You will collaborate with hardware and software teams to deliver high-performing, compliant electrical designs, perform validation, and contribute to hardware reviews while working in a hybrid lab setting. The role combines design, testing, and sustaining activities across analog, digital, RF, and power domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required; Master’s preferred.
• 1–2+ years in electrical hardware development.
• Experience with PCB design tools (OrCAD) and circuit simulation (PSpice).
• Knowledge of analog, digital, RF, and mixed-signal design.
• Experience with test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, DMM).
• Strong teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to new product design and sustaining activities for analog, digital, RF, and mixed-signal designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute hardware development tasks.
• Conduct hardware validation for reliability, performance, and robustness.
• Support EMC, safety, and environmental compliance through design reviews and testing.
• Document designs, test results, and changes clearly.
• Use lab tools to analyze and debug circuits.
