Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan seeks a senior IoT engineer to design and deploy solutions connecting assets to enterprise data platforms. You will lead field projects, own end-to-end solution design within architectural patterns, and guide execution with clear handoffs across teams.

You will develop streaming analytics and real-time dashboards to turn telemetry into actionable insights while coordinating with stakeholders and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 1 year in Engineering/Tech Support including IoT infra and cloud data concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years IoT solutions development and integration.
• HS diploma with 7 years IoT tech, infra, or support experience including field devices.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced IoT field engineering projects and end-to-end solution design.
• Design streaming analytics and real-time dashboards for operational insight.
• Configure and program field devices and ingestion components.
• Provide architecture input, participate in design reviews, mentor junior engineers.
• Perform advanced root cause analysis and maintain stakeholder communication.
