Help Build the Future of Water Infrastructure

Extreme Endeavors is an innovative engineering company that designs and deploys cutting edge IoT automation and SCADA systems for water and wastewater utilities. Our technology helps communities monitor, protect, and improve their drinking water systems through advanced automation, cloud connectivity, and real-time data.

We are looking for a motivated, hands-on individual who enjoys working in the field, solving technical problems, and taking ownership of projects. This position offers significant opportunities for growth into project management, estimating, and business development.

Primary Responsibilities
Field Installation & Service
  • Install IoT automation equipment at water treatment plants, pump stations, lift stations, and water storage tanks.
  • Install electrical control panels, instrumentation, sensors, communications equipment, and networking hardware.
  • Perform electrical wiring, conduit installation, troubleshooting, and equipment startup.
  • Configure and test IoT System, HMIs, cellular equipment, and cloud-based monitoring systems.
  • Travel throughout West Virginia to customer sites.
Project Coordination
  • Assist in planning installations and coordinating project schedules.
  • Communicate with customers, engineers, contractors, and utility personnel.
  • Maintain project documentation and installation records.
Estimating & Bidding
  • Prepare material takeoffs for automation and electrical projects.
  • Obtain pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Assist in preparing project bids, proposals, and quotations.
  • Review project drawings and specifications.
  • Help identify project opportunities through state and municipal bidding platforms.
Financial & Business Support
  • Track project costs and labor hours.
  • Assist with budgeting and project profitability analysis.
  • Support invoicing and project closeout documentation.
  • Help improve internal processes to increase efficiency and profitability.
Desired Qualifications
  • Electrical, Industrial, Automation, Mechanical, or related technical background.
  • Experience with electrical wiring and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and construction drawings.
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office required).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Experience
  • SCADA systems.
  • Industrial controls.
  • Networking or telecommunications.
  • Water or wastewater utilities.
  • AutoCAD or drafting.
  • Project estimating.
  • Construction bidding.
  • Purchasing or project cost tracking.
