Job summary

Charles Schwab Corporation in Austin, TX seeks a Lead iOS Developer to guide the Mobile Technology team on the next generation of mobile applications for Retail and Advisor services. You will drive architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and partner with product and design to deliver high-quality experiences.

On-site role with a focus on scalable, secure iOS platforms, real-time performance, and clean interfaces.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of iOS development experience with team leadership
• Strong problem solving skills and coaching and mentoring junior developers
• Experience with REST, JSON, XML and interfacing Android applications to server-side APIs
• Proficiency with Swift and Swift UI
• Solid grasp of algorithms, memory management, and real-time communications
• Familiarity with Agile practices
• Thorough understanding of mobile encryption algorithms, analytics, and social channel integration
• Experience in developing reusable artifacts, modules, and assets

Responsibilities

• Lead development efforts and provide guidance to the engineering team across Schwab's mobile applications
• Participate in design discussions and mentor engineers to remove roadblocks
• Collaborate with principal iOS Developer to create vision and roadmap for Schwab's mobile suite

Mobile Technology group is responsible for Mobile, Web, Services and Cloud technology strategy for Schwab Retail, Retirement and Advisor Services. In this role, you will work in Schwab’s Mobile Technology team on the next generation of Middleware Services driving a cutting-edge mobile experience for clients.

As the Lead iOS Developer, you will be responsible for leading the development efforts and providing guidance to the engineering team across Schwab's suite of mobile applications for Retail, Retirement, and Intelligent Assistant. You willparticipate indesign discussions as well as mentor and remove roadblocks for engineers on the team. You will work closely with the principal iOS Developer in creating the vision and roadmap for Schwab's suite of mobile applications.

What you have
