Job summary
Charles Schwab is seeking a Lead iOS Developer for our Mobile Technology Suite in Austin, TX. You will lead the development efforts across Schwab's Retail, Retirement and Intelligent Assistant apps and mentor the engineering team to deliver high-quality mobile experiences.
Work on the roadmap, participate in design discussions, and collaborate with the principal iOS Developer to shape Schwab's mobile strategy.
Qualifications
- 9+ years of iOS development with leadership experience.
- Strong problem solving and mentoring junior developers.
- Experience with REST, JSON, XML and interfacing iOS apps to server-side APIs.
- Proficiency with Swift and SwiftUI.
- Solid grasp of algorithms, memory management, and real-time communications.
- Familiarity with Agile practices.
- Thorough understanding of mobile encryption, analytics, and social channel integration.
- Experience in developing reusable artifacts, modules, and assets.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development efforts across Schwab's mobile applications for Retail, Retirement, and Intelligent Assistant.
- Provide guidance to the engineering team and remove roadblocks.
- Engage in design discussions and mentor engineers on technical strategy.
- Collaborate with the principal iOS Developer to shape the roadmap for Schwab's mobile suite.
