Job summary

Whatnot is seeking an experienced iOS Engineer for its App Platform to help build the stable, scalable foundation across iOS, Android, and web. You’ll focus on core components, the design system, and strengthen networking and persistence layers to enable product pods to move fast without sacrificing quality.

You will collaborate with product teams to ensure the “right way” to build is also the easiest way, contributing to app stability, crash reduction, and high-leverage impact across the entire

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping iOS platform or products.
• Proficiency in Swift, with a deep understanding of iOS fundamentals and SwiftUI-driven UI architecture.
• Proven track record of delivering user-facing features. You are known for shipping products and features lightning-fast.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain core components and the design system for the iOS apps.
• Strengthen networking and persistence layers, drive app stability and crash reduction.
