Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Lead iOS Software Engineer to own the technical strategy, architecture, and evolution of our native iOS apps. You will guide a team of iOS developers, define standards, and drive delivery from concept to App Store release.

You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend leads to build scalable, high-quality iOS experiences that align with Apple’s guidelines and business goals. Strong leadership and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of native iOS development experience.
• 1+ years of leading teams and driving initiatives on production-grade apps.
• Expert-level proficiency in Swift and strong iOS SDK/tools.
• Deep expertise in modern iOS patterns (MVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture, Combine, Swift Concurrency).
• Strong hands-on skills in SwiftUI (preferred) and UIKit.
• Proven track record in establishing and owning CI/CD pipelines for iOS (Fastlane, Xcode Cloud, Bitrise).
• Experience leading technical interviews, hiring, and team growth in Agile/Scrum.
• Excellent communication and leadership in English.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the technical vision for native iOS applications.
• Establish engineering standards and architectural patterns across iOS codebase.
• Drive iOS roadmap balancing product needs, debt, and scalability.
• Collaborate with designers to build pixel-perfect interfaces aligned with HIG.
• Architect integrations with backend REST/GraphQL services.
• Lead code reviews and ensure modular, maintainable code.
• Establish testing strategies: unit and UI tests (XCTest).
• Own end-to-end release lifecycle via App Store Connect.
• Mentor engineers and shape a high-performing iOS team.
• Partner with stakeholders to align mobile strategy with business goals.
